Archetypes of Personality presents a new view into the natural architecture of the psyche. Just below the surface of our collective awarenes lie eternal pathways that illustrate our deepest sources of identity and fulfillment. Using film, television, history, mythology and pop culture examples, we’ll explore the qualities that define each archetype and parallel Buddha family. Come explore a fresh path to better understanding of personality and gain genuinely new insight into ourselves and others.

This seminar advances Toni Wolff’s original insights into personality. Antonia “Toni” Wolff is one of the founders of Jungian psychology and her Structural Forms of the Feminine Psyche is root of this work. Her approach was furthered by Tad Guzie and Noreen Monroe Guzie in their book About Men and Women. Stunningly Toni’s model is paralleled in the Tibetan Five Buddha Families tradition as described by Chogyam Trungpa Rinpoche. While the course draws from both, it is primarily focused on the Jungian Archetypal approach and is illustrated using film, television, mythology, pop culture and historic figures. Gary S. Bobroff, M.A. is the developer and facilitator of Archetypal Nature.  He completed his first MBTI test at age 13 and has been working with Toni Wolff’s archetypal model for over 25 years. He has an undergraduate degree from the University of British Columbia, Canada and an M.A. in Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute.  He delivers the depth of Jungian approaches in a visually engaging and accessible form.

He is the founder of Jungian Online a referral site connecting clients with Jungian therapists worldwide. He works as a consultant with organizations bringing the depth of archetypal insight into strategy design and implementation. He is is a certified administrator of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator.

He is the author of Carl Jung: Knowledge in a Nutshell (Arcturus Books, 2020) and Crop Circles, Jung & the Reemergence of the Archetypal Feminine (North Atlantic, 2014). He writes and speaks on modern topics from an in-depth, soulful perspective: www.gsbobroff.com.
